Vision & Mission
The Tsay Keh Economic Development Corporation (TKEDC) is committed to empowering the Tsay Keh Dene community and its members by fostering sustainable and responsible economic growth.
TKEDC is committed to making sound economic and business management decisions that will benefit both current and future Tsay Keh Dene members and partner entities.

Who We Are
TKEDC is the business arm of the Tsay Keh Dene Nation, dedicated to building a sustainable local economy rooted in cultural values, stewardship of the land, and community well-being. Our mission is to create jobs, build opportunities, and launch successful Nation-owned businesses that benefit every Tsay Keh Dene member.
Our Story & Legacy
Formed through the Nation’s Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) process, TKEDC reflects the spirit of resilience and self-determination. After the displacement caused by the W.A.C. Bennett Dam in the 1960s, the Nation has worked to reclaim economic independence and preserve its identity. TKEDC carries that legacy forward guided by strong governance and a deep connection to land, culture, and future generations.
Our Impact
TKEDC drives community prosperity through employment, training, and revenue-generating businesses like Chu Cho Industries and Chu Cho Environmental. We measure success not just in profits but in strong families, skilled workers, cultural continuity, and a healthier Nation.
